Before her design career, she owned a successful wellness spa on Newbury Street in Boston, and once worked for a detective agency as the first female polygrapher in Massachusetts. She has trained as a professional chef (always a plus when designing kitchen space) and attended Boston Architectural College for design training. Comfortable at both the drawing board and the construction site, she rehabbed her own Southend brownstone which features a glass stairway and a Japanese soaking tub. Her acclaimed rooftop garden terrace has won numerable prizes and has been featured in Boston Magazine.
